sugar-refineries

Corrosion and rapid abrasive wear of factory equipment are widely recognized as a major production cost in the sugar industry.

The problem originates both in the processing of beet and cane, due to the highly corrosive and or highly abrasive nature of the product.

The sugar industry severely suffers from the short life of equipment due to tear and wear of cane knives, cane shredder etc., and the need for excessively frequent cleaning and maintenance of mechanical equipment including plant downtime caused by choking of unprepared sugar cane.

The short life of equipment in turn leads to loss of sugar production and normally loss of power generation in the case of co-generation sugar plants, which make Arcoplate application a great alternative.
