Utilising Arcoplate ArcoAlloy 1600; 6mm on 7mm.
This wear plate outlasted the life of the chute. The Arcoplate in this chute has proven that Arcoplates smooth surface finish enhances the polishing effect. This lowers the coefficient of friction, prevents damp material hang up and encourages better material flow. |

Arcoplate 2355; 8mm on 9mm; 1.8m wide x 4m long x 2m high. Arcoplate ArcoAlloy 800 liners replaced our competitors liners which were heavier and less cost effective on a performance basis. This chute has no bolting holes in the Arcoplate liners. The fixing studs are fired to the low carbon steel backing plate and bolted onto the chute frame. This feature eliminates a common wear problem known as comet tail erosion that emanates from the bolted area on the wear surface. |
Fan LinersArcoplate ArcoAlloy 1600; 6mm overlay, 7mm backing plate. Arcoplate ArcoAlloy 1600 fan liners are used extensively in cement plants, and coal-fired power generation plants. This includes mineral and mining operations where dust particles severely affect fan life.
