Military vehicles are heavily armored to withstand
The impact of shrapnel, bullets, missiles, or shells, protecting the personnel inside from attack. This would include tanks, aircraft, and ships.
Civilian, public and private transportation may also be Arcoplate armored. These vehicles include cars or other transport used by reporters, officials, security and others in conflict zones or where violent crime is common, as well as presidential limousines.
The Arcoplate design and purpose determines the amount of armor plating carried. Field test show that Arcoplate Armor’s half-inch thick plate will outperform the traditional One-inch plate commonly used.
